Cast       :

                Patrick Wilson as Josh Lambert. He is a good father for his kids and good husband for his wife, Renai. He is a lecturer. He has ability to leave his body when he slept, and began to travel in   other place. It happened when he was 8 years old.

                Rose Byrne as Renai. She is a good mother for her kids. She felt afraid because something went wrong in their house. She loves music. She writes a song and plays the piano.

                Lin Shaye as Elise. She is a paranormal. She helped Josh’s family to save Dalton (Josh’s son) from the devils in the Further.

                Ty Sympkins as Dalton. He is Josh’s and Renai’s son. He can’t wake up after he fell from upstairs. He also has ability to leave his body when he slept.

                Barbara Hershey as Lorraine. She is Josh’s mother. She helped Josh and family to save Dalton.   She asked Elise to help them. She loves their family.

                Leigh Whannel as Specs. He is Elise’s partner. He is a dare guy. He did his job very well.

                Angus Simpson as Tucker. He is also Elise’s partner. He is a dare man. He did his job perfectly     with his appliances.

                Andrew Astor as Foster. Dalton’s older brother. He felt afraid when Dalton often walked in the night. Though, Dalton was comma, and cannot wake up anymore.

                Joseph Bishara as Lipstick face demon (entity). He is a devil who kidnapped Dalton.

                J. Larose as long haired fiend (entity). She was disturbing Josh’s family.

Synopsis         :

                                                                                                                                                                                          

                There is a family, Josh as a father, Renai as a mother, Foster as an oldest brother, Dalton as an older brother, and Cally as a younger sister. They moved into new house recently. Renai found an old room in the top floor at their new house. It was beginning when Dalton explored their new house. Suddenly, he fell from the old wood upstairs. At the tomorrow morning, he couldn’t wake up anymore. His parents saw the doctor. The doctor said Dalton was comma. Short time, they moved into new house again. Unfortunately, it was still happen. Renai often saw the entities run the house. Lorraine, Josh’s mother, asked Elise to help. Elise said it wasn’t caused by the house, but it caused by Dalton. Elise explained what happen with Dalton. Actually, Dalton is not in comma. He has an ability to leave his physical body when he slept. Then, he began to travel with his spiritual body into other place that called “Further” a place for fiends and others dark life. Unfortunately, he travelled too far and lost. That’s why; the entities appeared and got closer to Dalton physical body to have the body as theirs. At the first time, Josh didn’t believe with Elise. When he looked at Dalton’s painting, he believed and asked Elise for help. Elise did her experiment to communicate with Dalton. It was being successful. Elise asked Lorraine to come. Lorraine explained about Josh’s childhood that same with Dalton did. Then, Josh agreed to do Elise’s experiment. He explored into Further, and tried to find Dalton. Dalton was kidnapped by Lipstick face demon (a devil). Finally, he was success to get Dalton and brought Dalton into Dalton’s physical body. He must fight with the entities that going mad. Fortunately, he wake up and also Dalton. Everybody was happy, but Elise felt something weird with Josh. She knew that Josh’s body was controlled by an entity. Josh (the entity) killed Elise.

PLOT

Introduction      :

                                                                                                                                                                                            

                There is a family, Josh as a father, Renai as a mother, Foster as an oldest brother, Dalton as an older brother, and Cally as a younger sister. They moved into new house recently. It is a fairly big house. They were busy to organize their new house. Renai found an old room in the top floor at their new house. It was beginning when Dalton explored their new house. Suddenly, he fell from the old wood upstairs. At the tomorrow morning, he couldn’t wake up. His parents saw the doctor. The doctor said Dalton was comma. Actually, it wasn’t something went wrong, but his sleep is not normal. Renai was beginning finding something wrong in their house, but Josh, her husband, didn’t believe her. Short time, they moved into new house again. Unfortunately, it was still happen. Renai saw a little boy was singing and dancing in their new house. She checked it out, and she found someone who didn’t like as human. He is an entity. She asked priest to help her, but it didn’t work.

Climax                  :

                 Lorraine, Josh’s mother came to see Josh’s family. Lorraine told them about her nightmare. Then, something happened in Dalton’s bedroom. She asked Elise to help them. Specs and Tucker were Elise’s partner. They have to watch out Josh’s house. They found something and asked Elise to see that. Elise came and found an entity that stand up besides Dalton. Elise described the entity. She said that the entity has a red face, his body is black, his foots are like horse foots, he has long fingers. Elise explained what happen with Dalton. Actually, Dalton is not in comma. He has an ability to leave his physical body when he slept. Then, he began to travel with his spiritual body into other place that called “Further” a place for fiends and others dark life. Unfortunately, he travelled too far and lost. That’s why; the entities appeared and got closer to Dalton physical body to have the body as theirs.  At the first time, Josh didn’t believe with Elise. When he looked at Dalton’s painting, he believed and asked Elise for help. Elise did her experiment to communicate with Dalton. It was being successful.

Anticlimax          :

                Elise asked Lorraine to come. Lorraine explained about Josh’s childhood that same with Dalton did. She said that when Josh was a child, he always has a nightmare. In the Josh’s photos, he was followed by an old woman who wearing black wedding dress. Then, Elise helped him to press his memory about it and tried to lose his ability to travel into other places. That’s why; there are no photos about Josh when he was a child.

Resolution          :

                Then, Josh agreed to do Elise experiment. He explored into Further, and tried to find Dalton. Dalton was kidnapped by Lipstick face demon (a devil). Finally, he was success to get Dalton and brought Dalton into Dalton’s physical body. He must fight with the entities that going mad. Fortunately, he wake up and also Dalton. Everybody was happy, but Elise felt something weird with Josh. She took Josh picture, and she surprised. Because, Josh is not a real Josh. There is an entity that having control with Josh’s body. Josh (the entity) was angry, and killed Elise. Elise passed away. Renai shocked and tried to find Josh.

8	Josh says to Renai (his wife), “I swear, I believe you”	It means, he assured his wife that he really believed with her.
9	Elise says to Dalton, “You’re a handsome boy”	It means, she praised Dalton.
10	Elise says to Lorraine and Specs, “Go! Check out Dalton. Go!”	It means she worried about Dalton.
11	Josh says to the entity, “Tell me. Where is my son?”	It means, he seriously worried and asked the entity to tell him where his son is.
12	Renai says to Josh, “You can do this”	It means, she gave encouragement to her husband.
13	Renai says to Josh, “Please, come back”	It means, she asked Josh’s soul to return into his body. She felt afraid.
14	Josh says to the entity, “Leave me alone!”	It means, he felt angry and asked the entity to go away.
15	Josh says to the entity, “Go away from me!”	It means, he dissipated the entity to go away from him.
16	Renai says to Josh, “Follow my voice!”	It means, she asked Josh to follow her voice.
17	Renai says to Josh, “Please, help me!”	It means, she really afraid.

Moral Value       :

                We can get some moral value from this movie. First, we don’t ever afraid about ghost or something like that. Because, it also God’s creatures. We just believe that they are in here with us.

For example       : Elise and her partners are not afraid with the entities, although the entities make them shocked sometimes. Likewise, Josh, he didn’t believe it anymore until he saw them by himself. Even though, he didn’t afraid with the entities, because he knew that they cannot make him lose. It contrast to Renai, she felt afraid when she saw the entities.

                Second, we must become a dare person to face all problems that we had. Third, everything is from God. So, we give it back to God.

For example       : Josh is a brave father to save his son, although he didn’t know what to do, how to make it real, and who are become his fight against. He just goes ahead and believes that God will save him and his son.

My opinion about this movie     :

                I recommend all of you to watch this movie, especially to Horror Lovers. It is a great horror movie. You can’t stop to surprise, to shock, to feel afraid. Off course, the story of this movie is different from other Horror movies. Don’t forget to watch INSIDIOUS chapter 2. You will be exciting with the next story. So, DON’T MISS IT !
